occupational-work2There is a close relationship between poor working posture and pain which can be effectively remedied by assessing the workstation and making appropriate changes and offering advice regarding rest breaks and exercises that can be done sitting at the desk.

Amanda and her colleagues have a proven track record in the treatment and prevention of RSI and other work related conditions. In one magic circle Law firm, the treatment and prevention programme devised and provided by The Physio Company has significantly reduced the incidence of RSI. We provide this service for a wide variety of clients from individuals for workstation assessments to large companies requiring on-site physiotherapy, workstation assessments, ergonomic advice and training.

We have a wealth of knowledge of the different types of chairs and ergonomic products that are available on the market and can provide independent advice on this.

Amanda has been involved in Occupational Health since 1988 working in the NHS, British Airways, various City law firms and Banks. She has lectured on The Prevention and Treatment of RSI nationally to Physiotherapists and to clients. Amanda has post- graduate qualifications in ergonomics and Health and Safety.

We would be happy to discuss your requirements for workstation assessments or any of our other services.

Training in the correct use of the workstation and workstation assessments are a legal requirement for companies with five or more employees under the DSE Regulations 1992 (amended 2002)
